I am really glad I was able to participate in Intimacy Training yesterday. It was a lot more...well, intimate than I expected it to be. But not in an overwhelming way at all. We went to those places because by the end of the day we were truly ready to explore some seriously challenging work together. I am proud of what I saw my classmates achieve and of what I learned as well.
So grateful to Violent Crown for arranging with Intimacy Directors International to hold this training in Austin.

This year went by pretty quickly, but a lot happened!
Here are some of the things I did in 2018: —Took a bunch of fun classes: singing, film acting, stage combat, ASL, aerials, and ballet —Directed ImprovEd Shakespeare while Andee continues her travels around the world —Joined the B. Iden Payne Committee —Choreographed and performed my first aerial routine —Did a local school touring show —Played in my first improvised musical —Understudied 3 shows —Coproduced 2 shows —Codirected 2 shows —Performed in 11 projects, events, or shows —Saw over 85 unique, local performances —Changed my major to Joan Looking back and looking forward, I continue to be floored by how lucky I am to do what I love with such an amazing community of artists. Here's to the next step in the journey! |
